Take The "A" Trane is an old tune written by Billy Strayhorn. Although I wrote some lyrics, the arrangement is based on Nikki Yanofski's incredible big band recording. Why try to reinvent the wheel. I just kept things the way I would have done it using a much smaller band :-).
