Raised on Robbery - Recently I decided to do a tribute song to Joni Mitchell. I know she hasn't been well lately and my thoughts were with her when the following tune came on Stingray Digital ch 515. When the vocals started out, I said wow, that's cool. Joni is a soprano and I'm certainly not so I changed the key to G and now you're talking an Eagles three chord wonder tune basically. The object wasn't to reinvent the wheel but to make it familiar doing some acoustic rock. I have always had a thing about giving tributes to other bands through music. My wife Gina is singing the back vocals on this one with my ovedubs.
