Go For Soda - OH CANADA! Written by Kim Mitchell and Max Webster's Pye Dubois from Canada, this tune always reminds me of my buddy Barry Marcoux. When he played in the band Sex & Violins here in Montreal before he moved out West, this was always a favourite of mine when I saw them live. Barry, I invite you to play actual real drums on this version, or guitar, or bass ... and sing... or all of the above.
Well, here's my so-called acoustic version. You'll notice that there is no hi-hat which was done purposely. Ringo style :-).
A music note: Yes, it's not in the key of F. That was done for what I feel was an acoustic advantage. It also gave a nice E/D chord. Sleep better now... lol. |
